new cargo petrol/tourists

i have been coming to your forums for a while now but have never had any problems with new stuff until now and despite using my limited ability to try to fix the problem myself i have been having a few problems with this one!

i can make petrol/gas and transport it but where do i deliver it ? the garages on my games do not accept petrol/gas

also do i have to build hotels or do they appear as an industry would?

any help much appreciated

i am running ttdx2.6.5 and alpha 61 patch

Which garages? Do you mean the petrol stations?
If so, look if your unload station is close to the petrol station,
And if it accept petrol.
If not, post here your ttdpatch.cfg and a screenshot (or savegame).

(edited:) The petrol stations and the hotels are builded by the towns.
You can't build it.

i have now managed to get the stations to accept petrol but as you can see the hotels and garages get mixed up

As I can see, there are 2 hotels in 2 nearby towns. Because there are 3 hotels per map limit and 4096 inhabitants requirement in the last version, I think you use one of the first alphas that had some bugs (but they are fixed long ago). Try to download the latest version. It will not fix the existing ones, but should prevent errors like this for the new hotels. If it does not help - inform me please.

excellent thanks,can now transport and deliver gas/petrol by road and have no problems with the graphics.

is there a way to transport by rail or air !!
