New curve and mountain handling: Three or four digits?

Post by 1016 »

For the new curve and mountain handling, the standard value is 0120. It says so in the offline manual and even in the WIKI.

However, in the config automatically created by TTDPatch (alpha 58, Windows), it is 120. I suppose it interferes with the switch unifiedmaglev (set to 1 = convert maglev to monorail).

Why is that and what is correct now (especially when it comes to user-specified values) :?:

Leading zeroes may be left off. 120 is really 0120.

3 isn't good for monorail and maglev because the physic engine assumes the vehicle is running on wheels. Use 1 or 2 instead. I suggest 3323 if electrified rails are used and 3123 otherwise.
