Pictures of your OTTD games
For a bit of fun i thought id create a roster for my company HKB - Harzberg-Kelheim-Bahnen.
Its quite long and there are lots of single types, preserved at the Harzberg Depot for all to see.
Here we go:
BR110 = 8
BR120 = 4
BR103 = 4
BR420 = 36
BR05 = 1
BR45 = 2
VT11 = 1
BR614 = 2
BR92 = 1
BR38 = 1
BR01 = 1
BR181 = 13
BR232 = 3
BR175 = 3
V160 = 1
BR144 = 10
V200 = 3
BR116 = 3
BR250 = 1
ICE 1 (BR401) = 2
Woooaaaahhhhh, what a list!
Soon to follow will be a map of the network (done in MS Paint for ease of viewing!)

Why did you need to take a picture of the taskbar as well? Ctrl+S works jsut as good except more game and less WindowsConductorBob wrote:Fine back by demand, here's some png's of my latest online game. It was a really bad time trying to get this working perfect without trains going off on the rock ways up into the factory.

Ahh well.
I now have a new Savegame download database at my website, and I would want for some savegames other than my own to put in it.
If you want your Savegame listed, send a screenshot showing off the best part, the savegame itself, and any length description to bornacorn@bornacorn.com

Hmm, very wierd. Do you have write access to the directory that the game is in? If not this would be why.ConductorBob wrote:Gar always a conversation on how I take my pics, the screenshot in game always says Screenshot Failed. Its that simple, so I take my own.

Here are screenshots of my very own company, which I managed to keep on top for a century, until I left, without passwording my company, and had some foo fly Darwin 300s in 2040.

More screenshots of my company, which has absolutely nothing cool to show and which operates in a flat, temperate, environment.....

- My opponent attempting psychological warfare on me. :-( Fortunately, my company outstripped his company in all aspects by the 5th year of the game (yay for capitalism).

- This is reasonably cool. Just look at all these raw material industries! This was the backbone of my company, with over half of my trains servicing these stations.

The last one. The map was pretty small, and I never really got a lot of trains, as you can see by the light traffic. But at least it allows you to design your networks cheaply (but inefficiently) like my iron and wood lines.
EDIT: I added two more, from my own save games.

- This city has grown immensely fast, and because all of my stations/rail get in the way, it just grows up to the mountains! It's almost as if the local authority used their brains on this one. ;)

Hey!
Today we journey along the magnificent route from Niederbrück, where the company's HQ is situated, to the city of Salzhorst. Changing trains at Nortbrück.
Enjoy!
Picture 1: Here we are, the start of the journey. Niederbrück was chosen as the starting point for the company for one main reason, the size of the town was especially large compared to the others in the area. We stroll into the station, having pre-booked our tickets online, the departure board indicates we have several minutes before the arrival of the Inter-City train to Nortbrück. We buy a coffee and move to Platform 2.
Picture 2: Only 3 minutes have passed when suddenly my train comes gliding from the tunnel into the station. 1st class passengers are at the back of the train so we walk to the back and board in considerable comfort. The whistle is blown and the whole train smoothly eases forward, with the distant roar of the BR120's engine increasing in volume.
Picture 3: We go back through the tunnel and immediately above the tunnel is the HQ, to our left as we cross the 3-track bridge is a wonderful view of the plains, the meadows and the never-ending sea of grass. Up ahead, a V100 pulls a Local train from Nortbrück, although it uses a mainly single track route through Langenheim and Albhausen an der Elbe.

Picture 4: We come down the hall, with plentiful countryside on both sides, along with a BR250 hauled Inter-Regio train from Nortbrück.
Picture 5: We come round the corner of Düsselhaven am Main and head straight through the station. Just leaving is an IR service bound for Coberg. We don’t stop here but head straight through.
Picture 6: We cruise along the mainline, the town of Nordbrück on our right, and the local route to Langenheim.

Picture 7: We move across the bridge and pull into Nortbrück, a real hub on our network. This is where we change trains, having enough time to get our bearings; we go under the platforms to the S-Bahn tracks. There is the mainline to Salzhorst, the S-Bahn line to Salzhorst, the local route to Langenheim and Niederbrück plus the mainline to Niederbrück.
Picture 8: Our train arrives as does one in the opposite platform, direction Elstermünster. The town is situated on the Nortbrück-Coberg mainline.
Picture 9: We have climbed the hill and arrive at Salzhorst south station, before briefly stopping and departing again.

It's cool to see a transport company, apparently, only having passenger/mail trains (from what I've seen in the map).
I got some more games from multiplayer games (I feel lonely when playing by myself
). The transportation company shown here was carried over from a multiplayer autosave game (so I could use cheats
).
