Post by spaceman-spiff »

At the moment I'm converting all my waggons to the nl pack waggons of scrat, to my agonizing surprise there were no livestock waggons in it

Or have I missed something

If noone has any ideas, I might boost the original waggon, now it only carries 15 cows, that's too small :x

maybe if you guys provide refrences to a design you would like, perhaps there could be someone who could make the model..(that doesn't necessarily mean me though, but im slightly interested).

Btw you know the funny thing about the livestock wagons in Loco is, that the wagon that you get for carrying livestock in the british scenario, carries the same amount of livestock as the NG livestock car, even when the NG livestock car is atleast 50% smaller..

I changed the capacity to 25, now I just have to replace all the old waggons

Too bad I'm not an expert in graphics, I would make one myself

I changed some wagons for lifestock and goods.
One standard large boxcar.
loads food,goods and lifestock
loads 70 ton or cattle, empty 20 ton speed 120km\h, year 1945
Make copies of your goods*.dat's
Two NL goods wagons, also for cattle.
These are from Scrat.
Make copies of NLBOXC1 and 2.dat
Have fun.

You could have renamed them for the people who want the original and the modified versions :)

I tried after using locotool frontend.
But it seems that the original also was altered. :?
Sometimes two or three the same wagons in the buildmenu, but only one in the OBJdat folder. :?:

did you remember to change the filename and the name at the top of the XML file
<object class="0x97" subclass="0x118280" name="CL20 "> (needs 8 letters including the spaces

you would need to call your modified version name="LVESTCK2" or something, and give it that filename

In Locotool frontend, i can only change stats not the id.
Then there is an option "Save to XML".
I do that , but where is the XML then to change the name.
I presume that what i see is a graphical view of the XML, but i see no possibilities to change names.
Because i can't find that, i also save to dat.
Then the changed stats come also in my OBJdat folder, What's good, but the name isn't changed then.
So mod works under the same name as the original.
