graphics for OTTD

Just wondering,
how do you know if the grafix set will work in openTTD instead of TTDpatch versions? I was trying to load up the planesetw_459, but when i run the game, it keeps telling me it can't find the grf file.

did you place .grf at the end of the filename in the openttd.cfg file?

And did you place the file in the data directory?

working now..

don't know why i put a /newgrf folder in OTTD, which convinced me putting the grf files in there....
no wonder it didn't work..

Vali, there is a serach function at the top of the page, as you are new you probably dint know about this, anyway, have a search and you should find a lotta topics answering your questions!

Thanks I'll try that.

I find Open TTD a lot more intersting than TTD,but without the new graphics it just not as fun.
