problems buying another company

ok ... don't know if the bug i've found is already known or not ... when a new company starts and i want to buy all immediatly, i have a superb game crash. Let met explain more.

When the new company have no name, i can buy 100% in 4 click without problem.

Problem is when i have the message "a new company ...". I open the company window, click on buy button 1, 2, 3, times, and crash at the fourth. It's the same if i let company develop. Whatever i do, if i try to buy all a company in four consecutive click, it's the crash.

If i take more time, 3 click, manage company, resell vehicles, destroy stations, spend money, and then manage my company again and buy remaining 25% - after 1 day minimum - it's ok. If i do all that in pause mode, crash again. In fact i do all in pause mode and undo the pause after remanaging my company, to let 1 day ... and i click buy the fourth time ...

I hope that my description of the bug is clear enough ...

Very strange, something seems to have overwritten the company name text. Can you try disabling all grf sets and see if it still happens?

i don't used specific grf set until very very recently (i have install general stations set this week !) and the problem was present before ... here is an older crash log, to be totally sure that it is not a grf problem.

Then either your game files are corrupt (try reinstalling), or something else messes with your game memory. Try quitting all other programs before playing, in particular virus scanners. Before that, do a virus and spyware scan to be sure.
