I'm sure this was mentioned before, but as I've lost the post, I dunno where
it is.
Basically, after installing OE5, it has removed all newsgroup messages that
have "expired" - so I only have 400 left. Bugger.
I've changed the options, so it shouldn't be doing it, but it has.
If someone has a OE5 .DBX file of the NG I'd appreciate it.....or some other
archived means....!! Thanks!

[OT] OE5 munching on the NG messages
Re: [OT] OE5 munching on the NG messages
go to your news server account, you'll see a list of all subscribed NGs
right-click AGMTT and select 'Properties' go to the last tab and click
reset - that always helps with me

Um...
how about an Update on your program?

That achieves the opposite effect. The idea is to keep hold of posts, notgo to your news server account, you'll see a list of all subscribed NGs

delete them all, and besides, most news servers clear old messages.
