An hour and a half a lesson? We are worked to the limit. Lesson after
lesson
after lesson. And only a 10 minute break. Despite this, it's slow
learning,
what with there being small lessons.

Hmm..That would be such a waste in my eyes......At least we actually had
time to DO something in our lessons.....
Do you get a lot of homework?
We're meant to get two homeworks a night lasting 40 mins each. It never
works out like that now that I'm in 4th year. In 3rd year it was three a
night, with four on Friday. That was a lot.
We used to get loads.....English and Maths were mandatory homework
lessons....

BTW can you lot drop your games/PE for a normal subject?
Thats what I did my entire secondry school time.
Sadly not, they are compulsory. I would have preferred to do something
else
during this time. 4 lessons a week wasted. I don't enjoy them at all.

We got to drop them after a few of us complained that all we did was play
football......I HATE football......But thats for another NG.....<g
I can't exactly say I'm a huge fan. I do support Everton. I hate playing
football, but I don't mind watching it.
I had another riveting games lesson today. Football. I have renamed it
Pointball. My skills at Pointball are excellent. You see, the idea of
Pointball, is that when the ball comes near to you, follow the path of the
ball with your finger, and say "Oh look, there's a ball!" It pisses lots of
my team off, but I defeat them with an immensely sarcastic response. The
goalkeeper always says silly things like "Push up," and I say "F--- off"

Despite my reluctance to do much sport, I am a quite tall and thin person.
Maybe it's with me being a vegetarian. Or I have a high metabolic rate. I
digress....

Naturally. But the metabolic rate does play a major part in it. I have never
been overweight in my life. By overweight, I have never had a higher than
the accepted levels in the Body Mass Index scores, making me the perfect
weight for my height.

being given more work to do at home. I used every trick in the book to
avoid bringing work home. It was the only thing I regularly got into
trouble for.

I was told I'd think differently when I grew up. I don't know how old
you have to be to be grown up, but forty years on I still think it's
wrong.

Work time and leisure time should be clearly defined. While you're at
school, you work. No argument there. While you're at home you should
be able to forget about school. If you can't learn everything you're
supposed to at school, then extend school hours.
