Homepage update

Post by Peter J. Dobrovka »

I have updated the 3DTT features section. There you can find some
specifications you can also use as manual for the program.

To Paul: would you have a look for mistakes in the language, please?

Just spotted something. If you go to the features page, and click on the
P.D. at the very bottom, it returns a 404. The link points to
http://www.digitalprojects.com/way-x/tt ... m#Dobrovka when I think
it should point to
http://www.digitalprojects.com/way-x/ew ... m#Dobrovka The difference is
that it doesn't have the tt3d in this one, and also it should point to the
English one, seen as though it is in the english section.

Paul, you have the honour of being the person with the 5000th post to
Alt.Games.Microprose.Transport-Tyc.

Well done!

Unfortunately, how ever Eddie might like to think, it did not spring
into existence the moment he subscribed and started counting. :-)
Well, if it is not the 5000th post, it is the 5000th on my server. I suppose
it depends on each one. Paul's post says on it

Xref: news.theplanet.net alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc:5000

You really think I'd have 5000 posts in my OE store file? It would take
around half an hour to load them all!

It could have been around for a while, but I believe the NG was created in
the spring. I don't think Deja go back to the very first post here, by the
administrator, informing the group has been created.....let me
see.................nope. Deja doesn't go that far. Guess we'll never
know....

Well, this doesn't seem to make much sense, but for that last post I've
got:

Xref: brick.direct.ca alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc:135219

And, while on the subject, I do remember this group being around on my
server for several years, as long as I've been on it actually, it was
just completely inactive every time I had come here before last summer,
I guess that might be when everyone else's server started picking it up.

No: Xref: lola alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc:4404

But I don't think that's bad for a "foreign" server.

Theoretically we could ask Microprose (THEY probably proposed it) but they
are not interested in TT anymore.

BTW it's something like 4900 here...

During my investigations for the trademark I heard about TT that Electronic
Arts have bought the copyright.
What do they plan?

Note, that it can't be a competition as news server who do not filter spam
have a higher number...
