The the "site of 3DTT" thread we have started discussing a game called
Castles, and I am willing to send it to anyone who is interested. It is
about 1.5mb and basically in the game you are Edward I, ruler of 13th
century England. In the game, you as the name implies, build castles, to
keep the rebellious Celts under control. At the same time, you have to
juggle your outside interests, fight battles, and keep an eye on your
workers and supply, and not to mention money.

I'll either make it available on a site, or email it to the requesters,
whichever you prefer.

If you want it, then *PLEASE EMAIL.* Do not reply to this post.

Thanks,

Eddie

Aren't I good to you for doing this? This game was released in 1990 and
Interplay still want $6.95 for it. OK it's not an obscene amount of money,
but it is stupid for a game 9 years old!

This would not be the problem. The major problem was: I contacted Interplay
and they could not help me how to get it.

[OT] Download Castles from.....

Post by Edward Bernard »

OK people, all those who want Castles, they can download it from this
address.
It's been zipped to 819KB and made into a self-executable which increased
its size to 849KB and also tells me that distribution of the self executable
is prohibited. Hmm...I think I'll upload it anyway!. It will extract itself
into C:\CASTLES

Download from http://www.ebernard.greatxscape.net/files/castles.exe

Thanks,

Eddie

PS: (Note the alteration in the games "Counsel" section in the options menu.
Ahhh...the fun of being a knight!)

You could buy it from the Interplay Store

http://www.interplay-store.com

But there is no need now is there :-)
