Thanks Eddie!

Post by Paul Johns »

Thankyou for adding my competitions to your site. Has anyone even downloaded
them yet. Eddie, your web site is really good. What program did you use to
make it? I used Publisher, that's why it's not very good. Can you suggest a
better program?

One sentence: If you want to talk to Eddie personally, use
e-mail instead of sending public messages to newsgroups.

And now the things: Code the website with a plain text
editor or use a goood wysiwyg editor instead. Go to Tucows
(http://www.tucows.com/), there are lots of them for Windowses
and Linux.

I am using Frontpage 2000.

"Often slagged, never beaten" is what I say.

Some people cannot afford such luxuries, and neither can I. Just that I got
it for free from my dads workplace.

Hey....don't be so nasty ;-)
There is often personally targetted stuff on here.

Yes, if you don't want to pay for one, there are loads of good free ones out
there.

You could also try http://download.cnet.com
They have a good download search engine.

Hey mate, no problems. I'm more than willing to stick stuff in the site.

WYSIWIG HTML Editors NC, MS PFE

Post by N.L.Allan »

MS Frontpage Express, berated by many is a great way to learn WYSIWYG HTML
editing. It takes little intelligence to use and is particularly good if
you use a lot of other MS apps. The other free one that I use is Netscape
Composer, almost identical to MS FPE. However, never, ever, ever, let MS
Word 2000 anywhere near any HTML; it screw it up perfectly.

Many thanks,

Nick Allan

Sorry guys..I have to differ here....MS FP is a terrable editor....For one
point its not HTML4.0 compliant....B-(

And its not Netscape friendly......I think its better to use ap program that
has a lot of TABS for doing creations...(Hotkeys)

ACE Expert 2.0 is great......You have full control over what crap it puts
into the scripting and such....

Sorry just MY opinion here...B-(
