SI/SO EEEK! it's alive!

Post by Phillip Michael Jordan »

Hi folks

You may have noticed that I haven't posted much lately. This was due to the
fact that i accidentally ruined the partition table of my hard disk
(whooops!)
I also promised an installer for TT Scenarios once, and I finished the alpha
version today (I had to re-write everything, the only thing not done yet is
detecting that no TT directory has been set yet, which is really not much
work at all)

I made a Windows Version, so you can double-click files in Explorer (or
Winzip!!!) and it'll automatically put them into the TTD directory (you can
choose that of course).
I would need icons for the TT Scenario files and the program itself, so if
anybody has a really bright idea, let me know. I also had to redo the DOS
version and I've got further than the last time (I knew how I was going to
do it)
I'll try and finish them today and put them for download tomorrow. I'm still
thinking if I should make my own web site for them or only give the program
to Eddie.
Sorry for letting you wait so long :-(

Hi folks
Hello!

Oh yes I've done that quite often in my time. Usually something to do with
dodgy programs I've installed that trash hard disks it hates.

Sounds good.
I won't be selfish, so I'll say I think you should let other people download
it if they wish from a website. The more people that see it, the more
suggestions, bugs, comments and ideas you can sort out.

I think congratulations are in order,

Eddie

Okay, I am waiting for the first release...

Do the both: In Eddie's site there could be a link to the
official website of Scenario Organizer.

Yes, I'm working on this now as I type, even though it is 11:30 at night. I
think I might as well update the entire site.

I had to DELTREE and reinstall Windows last Wed/Thu/Sat because my profile
was corrupted for no apparent while I *wasn't* using the computer!!

The good point is that recently installed Windows are -more- stable, clean,
faster to load and it do not freeze for 10 sec. when there is something to
do with the swap file.

Nice. As I asked you :-)
