'Oldie' status.

Post by Edward Bernard »

It's that time again, when I ask all those who think they've been on here
long enough to know what to expect, to know how to react to different
people's posts, who think they know how this place works, and all those who
well known here, to come forward and be given the 'humbling' to say the
least 'OLDIE' status!!!

There are no priviledges of being an oldie. All it is, is a way of me
knowing who to put on the regulars list on TTWorld.
So if you think you fit the bill, then reply with a brief one/two line of
summary of your character, and you will be featured in the list.

Thanks,

Eddie

Umm...yes it does.

If any newbie wants a quick rundown of the group, then they read the page,
and they find out who is on they might bump into on the group, and what
their character is like, as well as finding a link to read the FAQ.

OK, I've been here, on and off (mostly on) since about Easter, with
(hopefully) helpful and constructive comments spewing forth from my
keyboard at regular intervals.

What about me? I'm a student at York, reading Maths and Philosophy.
When I'm not playing TT or working, I like to read, play bridge and run
the uni debating society.

I think you can count me in, because I've been here since september,
regularly posting almost anything I could think of, sometimes whether I
should or not. Explaining stuff is not my strongest point, but I know a lot
about the game.

What about me? I'm CERTAINLY well known... ;)

I should get nominated for 'most improved poster'. ;) So long as someone else
writes about me... I'm no good at writing about myself.

Hmm...but isn't it better to write about yourself than to ask someone else
to write it for you? Just like biographies and autobiographies.

No, I just can't write about myself. ;)
Oh well...I'll just think of any old nonsense and stick it on the site :-)

Yes. I know you've been here for ages, cos you made the Strategy guide for
me. Some people though seem to think your new here. How wrong they are....

Enough rambling, you've been added!

Hmm... There is one problem: when you write about yourself, you pick out the
good things, if someone else does it he/she often picks out th ebad things
