Simple request...

Post by Steve »

I'm beginning to think about creating a Transport Tycoon web page, as unbiased
as possible. (Nothing against Eddie's site, but it does have a link to this
newsgroup. He also links to all over. I'm not planning on having either.) So,
what I need from you, is nice and simple stuff... GIF pictures, animations
maybe, MIDIs if you can spare them, buttons, other fun stuff, JAVA script, blah
blah blah, etc.

Right now I'm going to use AOLPress, since it's nice and simple to use. I don't
give a crap if it doesn't have super-fun Java and neat-o stuff like that. It's
rather similar to using Microsoft Word 97...

Thanks in advance.

BTW, all crap goes to my crappy e-mail address at Enschec...@crappyAOL.com.
Actually Enschec...@aol.com.

Branching out? Actually, I've had about 4 or 5 web pages perviously but I
haven't bothered to keep up to date with them...

aspects to TTDLX.

A great man said 'Just try to be a good programmer and let history make it's

I never steal anything major (just like little horizontal rules, buttons, and
such) because I believe there's a way to embed a copyright into the file or
something.

I don't know HTML. I don't plan on using it. I've seen those note-pad made
websites, and they have the little graphics on the bottom plastered all over
saying 'Made with NOTEPAD, like you're supposed to use!' Blah blah blah. I used
AOLPress because it's so dang easy. ;) I'd rather spend 12 minutes than 12
hours on a website.

Well, actually this web page is part of a big web page... with some other
stuff. Section for Descent, for my own MP3s, for my (crappy) art, etc.

I link to it all over because in case you didn't notice...

The official TTNG website:
http://www.ttworld.the-whale.com

Emphasis on the word /official/
And a true TT website links to his fellow sites. Nearly every TT site
worldwide has a links page, because it's not a competition for visitors, but
more like a friendly thing.

Also, I'd rather you didn't take anything from the site. If you really want
stuff, then do what I did, and search the web for what you want. I know what
screenshots, and scenarios I have.

Yeah, but it'll sure look more graphically attractive if you
