But then most Americans think that Margaret Thatcher was the mutts nuts.
.
I wish she'd just bugger off. William Hague thinks she's the mutts nuts and
the Tories are now virtually fascists with their "Anti-European" stance
recently.
I completely agree with you. If you were to believe the Tory
party, the other European countries are to blame for
everything from the trains running late to the cold weather.
Even regular readers of The Sun must be finding it a bit
hard to swallow. It's fascism, verging on racism.

For the non-UK residents on the newsgroup, here's a brief
rundown on the 3 major parties in the UK (completely
non-stereotypical and not simplified at all!!!):

Tories: Run by William Hague (amoeba) & Thatcher (senile).
Stance: Rule Britannia! Declare war on Europe a.s.a.p.

Liberals: Run by Charlie "Unknown" Kennedy.
Stance: Nobody knows, or really cares, because they're never
going to be elected. Stuck in the middle.

Labour: Run by the spin-doctors.
Stance: Relatively pro-European. Best of a bad bunch. Tony
Blair talks a good game, if nothing else.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a fascist trend
throughout Europe at the moment, which is worrying. For
example, in Austria, I think that an ultra-right party is
really popular at the moment. The "francophones" will no
doubt know all about Jean-Marie Le Pen and his "Front
National" in France. (Pour les français: "BNP" en anglais
est le sigle pour l'équivalent du FN!!! Mes amis anglais
étaient un peu surpris quand je leur a dit que j'avais un
compte chez la BNP...!)

It certainly doesn't bode well for a united Europe. I for
one wouldn't mind seeing a "United States of Europe"
eventually, with a president being elected from a different
country each new term. Anyone else think this is a good
idea?! <g>

The Sun's a bit on the s*** side as well!
Tories: Run by William Hague (amoeba) & Thatcher (senile).
Stance: Rule Britannia! Declare war on Europe a.s.a.p.
I like that! Amoeba and Senile. Often referred to as William "Vague" Hague.
Rory Bremner does some really good impressions of him. I hate the way they
make out that current problems are Labours fault. They did inherit what the
Tories done. I also hate the way they do things like this....a couple of
months ago they were criticising Labour for its increases in petrol tax.
Labour used the formula made by the Tories.....bit on the hypocritical side
if you ask me.
Labour: Run by the spin-doctors.
Stance: Relatively pro-European. Best of a bad bunch. Tony
Blair talks a good game, if nothing else.
I'm perhaps a centre-left person myself. I take quite a great in interest in
politics, despite the fact that I'm only 14 and no one of my age ever dreams
about it!
Often referred to as Tony "Phoney" Blair. Tony's Cronies, Tony's Phonies,
Blair Babes....and so on.
Blairs third way doesn't go down well with me. Sometimes I fail to see the
difference between Labour and the Tories.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a fascist trend
throughout Europe at the moment, which is worrying. For
example, in Austria, I think that an ultra-right party is

We'll soon see....Philip....answer this question please. Is what the above

Yes, at the last Euro elections, if you watched Peter Snow and his
swingometer, he reported a 2% swing to the right-wing parties.
It certainly doesn't bode well for a united Europe. I for
one wouldn't mind seeing a "United States of Europe"

Yes a very good idea. Something to rival the USA!! More integration into
Europe is required if we are to prosper.

Margeret who?
Margaret Thatcher: Senile old bat, who spews forth trash regularly, to the
grunting pleasure of the Tory party. Was in charge during the Falklands War,
an irrelevant clump of soil next to Argentina. Known for her right-wing
policies, and the introduction of the Poll Tax, and general ruining of the
British economy.

Crisis? What crisis?! You're right; unfortunately, the English
media aren't being too complimentary about France at the
moment. And then there's the UK wanting to not accept a
new tax which all the rest of Europe wants... I hope Finland
knows what it's letting itself in for!

Hmmm....yes. I have been listening about this. By the looks of things,
Britain are on their own. Who would get the money generated from this
anyway?
Well, Britain have threatened to use their veto so if they do, it looks all
over for that.

work. Too much political differences.
