I'm using the stats from TheCounter.com. Perhaps they don't have much in
the
way of support for Netscape browsers.
If they don't support the latest version of Netscape, they're either
really
lazy or didn't see a reason to include it. Why, I don't kow...
They do.....But you have to understand that as Netscrape isn't a biggie. And
I believe there are lots of upgrades for it.......
You'll have to forgive me for that as I'm going from memory on that
one......

popular as it was ever going to be. Windows was at version 1.03 (I've
still got the 5.25" floppies!)
I had the Amstrad 1640!
And it was state of the art at the time!!
I had an external 20 Meg hard drive that looking back on it was about the

I had Jet Set Willie and Starquake.........Oh and I had the QL

Actually, there are PLUG-INS, but there is only two version of version 4.0...
or is it 5.0? Whatever is the latest version of Netscape.

Don't tell me what's decent and what's not. I'll use Netscape if I feel like
it.
The latest version of netscape crashes on every possible chance, and
is generally not very good. IE is much better, but still too big and
slow for my likings. Opera is small, and fast, and generally better
than both the big ones. The only thing Netscape and IE have going for
them should be the amount of support you can get for them, so explain
why they are both so bad.

Netscrape 4 has gone from 4.0 upto 4.7 inclusive. I make that 8
versions, each one buggier than the previous. (If you hadn't guessed,
I don't like netscape)

Wait... I've got it... you all must have the BRITISH version, which doesn't
work, because I've never had any problems with Netscape.

New bugs have been launched? What in the heck are you talking about anyway?

Not in my experience. Netscape _used_ to be a really good browser. And
then AOL bought Netscape. Now I must say that it is one of the worst
browsers available. It's got lots of features, but none of them work
very well.

Hmm.

Wonder why your features don't work... yet almost everything I do on Netscape
runs quite faster than it does on IE, and doesn't crash unless you try to open
45 windows of it at once.
