ICQ
Re: ICQ
I thought you might have to pay, see? They seemed to be offering a Timed
Beta, or something, and I couldn't find anything to say ICQ is Freeware.
Anyway. I'll probably download it at school.

I leave you with today's subliminal message:
Re: ICQ
I was wondering this when I downloaded it about 2 years ago - its been inoffering a Timed Beta, or something
Beta ever since!!!
They keep updating it, (like Mr Yahoo updates the Yahoo pager....) but in
all intents and purposes, its a free program. You might get rumours and
messages from people you don't even know saying, "send this to 9 million
people or ICQ will cut you off" which can be worrying!! But its all a hoax,
of course...
Overall, its a snazzy program, and useful if you go online and want to know
when your buddies are online too.....

and look for ICQ 99a then you should find a free copy to download,
which also allows you to create a new account for free and use
everything else on it. HTH
