You wil have to place two way signals at that side of the station, Than the trains will wait one signal back until there is one track cleared and then they will go to that track.

If I where you, i would place a one way signal in the turn in front of the station as well, so your trains dont have to wait that long anymore.

what I normaly do, is put another one way signal right be-for the split off, so that the train can go right up close, pick a track, and take it... It may not seem logical, but for some reason it works perfect.
Also, you may want to put signals directly after the sation, as I cant see underground signals

Ok... i have tried you ideas now. but none of them work... the train have red light at every platform on the station and it goes to the platform that have a train allready in it.....

chevyrider, you dont need 2 way signals.. this is one advantage of locomotion has over TTD, we didnt need patches.

that's right chevy, you do need 2way signals
if you use only one way signals the train will always choose the first track it meets, when you use 2 way signals at the platform entrances, the trains will have a choice

Just convert the 1 way signals on the station entrences to 2 way, and the train will pick a free platform if there is one free.

DwarF are you a brother of d00mh4mm3r or something.
Put 2 way signals in front of the station, where now are the 4 red signals.
That platform 3 is used only, is that where 2 two mainlines come together is the shortest way to platform 3.
Look at the row of tiles towards the station.
Signals always stay red in an empty station, till a train wants to use the empty platform.
Make sure that every platform has a oneway signal when leaving the station into the mountain.

Hi

Im am not sure we have enough information to be sure that Chevvyriders good advice will work.

Dwarf..

Q1) Can we have another picture with the underground view on and so we can see all the signals on the rail lines that leave the station.

Q2) How did the train in platform 1 next to the mine get there ? Your posts say only platform 3 is used?

At the moment I have theories:

1) The other platforms are somehow part of a big block of track thats occupied.

2) Your approaching train has specific orders that can only be fulfilled taking the route via platform 3.

3) You are changing signal but not resetting your approaching trains orders. Stop the train. Change the signals. Start the train...that might allow it to select a new route.
Regards
