That's good because replacing things is almost always possible.
But there must be an in-game on/off switch for the map grid.

Map grid is not generated automatically only it is in GRAPHIC ...
anyway .. I edited (poorely) one , for now only one square ... who can check it (or better create merge) ...

Is it possible to have different sprites for the same building in the same game? I know you can replace buildings in the game with new ones, but that is just replacement, where I would like more. I saw that train wagons can look differently, so why can't buildings?

Someone told me this is impossible ... I was thinking about changing station .. you know .. diffirent stations in diffirent years ... but someone said it is impossible ... don't remember who ..

It would be nice to be able to combine multiple squares for one building.

I mean building a big skyscraper or a cathedral on the same amout of space as a family house is a bit strange......

Maybe he doesn't have to create new graphics, but can he just combine a few of them to one big one. Other people can then draw new graphics for it.

You mention on your to do list you would like to create invisble vehicles when crossing railway lines. How far off are you from this.

But the thing with that is if you only change the graphic it will only be built once in each town... and probably on the outskirts. So you'd have to do A LOT more work for it to "act" as a skyscraper... not a football stadium

Yes that is the only one, which I want to keep. And it is allways put at the outskirts of a city. Not the place for a skyscraper.

In response to the topic at hand, i like the footy stadium... And, we could always change the buildings that take up two squares, like the office block in the desert climate (although i like that...)

What surprised me is that the football stadium is american football, since most people here aren't american. This is not to say I don't like soccer, which in fact I like better than football, so....
