Crash: many randon towns with no land

Post by joed »

Yay, I can make openttd 0.4.0 crash :)

Mac OS10.3.9

"create scenario"
add "many random towns" to the ocean
it crashes with no warning.

or clicking "random town" doesn't give me anything - no error. Just as if i didn't press it.

It's fine if I have land, unless i keep clicking "many random towns" then it eventually crashed.

Is it bad I'm trying to make it crash? :P

It is not a crash, it is a feature. If there can't be any towns, OpenTTD quits with an error() message. It is on the todo list somewhere to beautify this.
TrueLight: "Did you bother to read any of the replies, or you just pressed 'Reply' and started typing?"
<@[R-Dk]FoRbiDDeN> "HELP, this litte arrow thing keeps following my mouse, and I can't make it go away."
