I play to TTD with an iBook (Mac) and it's impossible to get a new vehicle. I ve installed the game by copy paste from another iBook and everything is fine except this.

You're in 1920. You need either some new graphics sets (Does the tropicset work?) or you need to start in 1950. The standard TTD vehicles don't start appearing until 1930 or 1940.

If you use the DB set, you can start in 1921

I was thinking about making 1920-1940 set, but I think I'll do it for the new game engine

Except that the DBSet doesn't load in tropic. The Tropicset is 2.0r1 compatible, so it should be OTTD compatible. I don't know when it starts, though.
