A Problem with TTD Patch

Ever since i installed TTD Patch, my computer seems to be "inflating" the TTD Patch.exe and original game file. For example, the TTD Patch inflates itself from 273 kb to 450! so does the geme file. Both become unusable. Can anyone tell me why?

Sounds like a virus infection to me, go run your virus checker.

No virus. Checked using norton 2005....

there is nothing in the Patch that could change sie of ttdpatch[w].exe file ... it must be something on your PC and viruses are the most possible ... but since you are saying you do not have viruses then I do not know what it could be ... try after getting proper EXE, changing its attributes to read-only

Does he mean Alpha 43

Because since i have this installed i cannot play TTDPatch/TTD anymore. Get folllowing message:

"TTD is not installed properly (registry error 2)
Press any key to abort"

Have antivirus, antispyware and firewall coalition. Tried rescanning registry and reinstalling Windows XP but no joy. TTDPatch is the only file on my system that behaves this way. Downloaded it from TTDPatch site. Help!

Where can i get a previous copy of TTDPatch as a try

Currently only playing OTTD, thank God it still works. New bigger maps is sensational, try it.
Please i am missing the sets and TTDPatch, what has gone wrong

Have you tried shadow's registry editor ?

something is protecting your registry ? or every restart it backs to a certain point ? maybe only HKLM key in registry ? maybe you got some odd privilages to that registry key ....

anyway

if that will help but the problem will happen again then I suggest making a REG file from registry key: HKLM\Software\Fish Technlogy Group\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\
then creating a bat file and in bat file importing silently (I will tell you later how if you need) into registry those settings every time you starting the game

Firstly tried Shadows TTD Registry Editor and it did the trick. Simply completed a change of folder and viola, weeeeeeee.

I've been playing a bit theese days, and i found an interesting thing. I'm using alpha 42, and it seems that some road vehicles have stagering prices (90.000- 150.000$), and running costs at about 9000$/year. Does this seem right?
