Hello,
after being ~6 months absent playing OpenTTD I compiled this week version 3.3.6 on a new Slackware Linux system (the install was straight forward and went pretty well, btw!). But after a few minutes of play I discovered, that stations don't accept cargo when placed a little away from the industry building (see pic). In all other directions the station coverage behaves normal -> the station accepts cargo if at least one blue square is over the buiding.
Can someone please try to reproduce this? It happens with all industries, not only Oil Refineries.
Should I add this to SF bugtracker?
Thanks,
Blumi

I think you need to get the catchment area to include the burning towers.
It is strange, but well known. Some parts of an industry doesn't count as being part of an industry in respect to catchment areas.

You see the oil-refineries' chimneys? Only those accept oil. The others are for show
Just like at the sawmill, only if the small shed is within the coverage area it is accepted.

Okay I see. But this is new, isn't it? I can't remember noticing this in the last versions I played (old TTDPatch & OpenTTD until 0.3.2.1).
Does the same thing apply to producing facilities like coal mines? How can I know that the coal reaches the station when I place the station - say - two squares away?
