oil well production in alpha42

Im using alpha 42. and in the temperate climate - havent played another for some time - the production of oil wells NEVER increases. it can have a rating of 99% over years, it will eventually DEcrease. since i have alpha 42 i have never seen a oil well increase its production once.

I know oil wells tend to drop production rates more likely than eg. a coal mine but afaik it wasnt this bad in the past and ocassionally oil wells would also increase their output.

the bad effect of this is that by year 2000 or something (so after 50 years maybe) all your opil wells are trunning at min output (24k/32k litres per month)

No, in TTD's temperate climate oil wells never increase their production. It's hardcoded in the game that way, the patch has nothing to do with it.

Is it possible to give them the chance to increase via a patch switch ?
