stupid noob

Hi,

Iv just been getting into transport tycoon again after seeinng openttd. Im trying to get some nice running trains with some funky looking stations the following shows my problem:

perhaps im doing things totally wrong but i dont understand why the trains wont use all the platforms and always try to use the first one.

You have to place double signals in front of the station instead of oneway signals.
Trains only choose between double signals.
It has always been like that with TTD.

oh, sorry there was quite a selection of forums though..and having a transport tycoon problem rather than an openttd specific problem i thought it would be fine here?

edit: for future reference what would be the correct forum for questions like this?

Well it's not a real problem, only that the OpenTTD team wants to tackle this problem by allowing trains to choose not only at double signals anymore.
So in future it will probably not be a general TTD problem anymore.
