the 'excess packaging' was half of the pistons though. I paid for a full non-damaged one!

SEW EM! (thats my answer to everything, i dont actually mean it) thats odd of hornby. they normally keep the train in good condition, just some times, the moters, and electronic stuff inside goes faulty not my sweet little queen mary though :) -shown below) iv'e had it for many years. it was the very first train i got:cry:

just when i was putting those models away, one almost fell of the desk, i dont think iv'e ever moved so fast before, and not actually ment to, like i didnt even tell my self to do

yes, HO/OO (or both) it works with both hornby aswell as bachmann. very good :)

The intercity 225 is good. very nice, but it does have a few problems (i.e the lose cog is the main thing) its very common with that type of train. no one knows actually why, which is odd :?

Yeah, but their british outline are all OO. It's a shame, really. I'd prefer HO. It'd allow a Great American Tour of British locos... :)
