just mucking around a bit and things got really messy. this is what happens when you try and squeeze everything into a tiny space.

heh i know.. it just got very messy, very quickly with what i was trying to do. that station is destination to 25 trains and 8 aircraft, i cheated a bit to get the airport as part of the same station but ah well, it had to be done - there was too many goods there!!

yes, you really should straighten out some of those curves, and not just the "waiting lines". stuff like the track coming from the south would be a lot better and nicer looking if you straightened it out. And those kind of curves really slow down trains (dunno about maglevs, don't play with them.)

Here is my current game in version r1302. I am trying a new type of intersection, one larger then the normal clover leafes I use, and it seems to be working wonders. SO far I have 36 trains that use the one station and there are no bottle necks.

The first image is that of the main hub, and the main exchange that takes all the different routes and combines them into one track to the Hub Station

The second image is the current area I am trying to get another bank in. I have one... How worthless is that.

Yeah I have spent upwards of 100 million in this area over the past 10 years or so, ITS making me very upset that the area is not growing. The cities don't hate me, but there isn't all love either.

I just spent 20 million on the station in the lowe rright hand corner, leveling land, and moving the land out as far as I could.

Grow little cities grow!

A couple of big Cities Merging

Post by PeteB »

No problem here. Cities seem to grow too fast if anything, they keep on displacing my industries.
