Can't build track under opponent's bridge
I thought you used to be able to build your own track or road under an AI opponent's bridge, as long as there was room. But it doesn't let you anymore, it says the square is owned by another. Obviously the bridge is, but not the empty space underneath. Confusing. Is this new? I haven't played with the AI in such a long time I could be remembering it wrong, but this behavior doesn't make sense.

I have the same, but then also for my own bridges.
When I start a new game however all is well, so my guess is that somewhere a bug has caused this which now has been fixed.
Maybe something to do with custombridgeheads

This was in a newly-started game, so it's clearly a real problem. Anybody else run into it?

What happens if you turn of PBS blocks on a game that was using them?

Like I already suggested it's the custumbridgehead switch.
If I turn that off, then I can build tracks normally under my bridges.
I can't try it with the bridges of my competitors, since there are none.

You mean you couldn't build track under your own bridges?
I hadn't caught that before. That would be annoying.

If you turn it off but still use an alpha version that supports it, there should be no problems (the trains will keep to their reserved paths but simply won't reserve new paths). If you turn it off by going back to an earlier alpha you'll likely get crashes because trains won't stick to their paths.krtaylor wrote:What happens if you turn of PBS blocks on a game that was using them?
Not so much as being unable to build them under my competitors bridge though.krtaylor wrote:You mean you couldn't build track under your own bridges?I hadn't caught that before. That would be annoying.
I can at least delete my own bridge to build the track, while for a competitor I first had to buy him up for 75% to do that.
