Have you got problems with creating CFG files in TTDPatch ??

Try this tool, with it you can easy create configuration files to TTDPatch and also change TTD options (in Windows Version). Download it here: http://ttdpatch.glt.pl/download/tps/tps.zip. For future updates take a look at http://ttdpatch.glt.pl/update.html

I edit my .cfg file myself - that way when something goes wrong i only have myself to blame...

Yes, but it is not very hard to edit the config file manually too.
