[Release] Middle Earth
Yes, it's Middle Earth for Locomotion - Now you can haul timber from Mirkwood, coal from the Mines of Moria and chemicals from the bitter Sea of Nurnen! Help the Elves leave Middle Earth by starting a passenger service from Rivendell to the Grey Havens! Suppose the Fellowship of the Ring could have boarded a bus from Hobbiton to Mt Doom? JRR Tolkien would have hated it.
Have fun, and let me know how you get on.

He thanks man, you made a map of my homeland.
First thing I'm gonna do is laying a track between Esgaroth and my beatifull lair. Then I don't have to fly anymore to get my favorite food: beautiful young maidens, hehehe.

Life's like a play in a theatre,
Life's like a dream,
If life could be expressed in a sound,
It would sound like Dream Theater...

Thanks!103er-Fan wrote:I liked the scenario, a bit hard on the first view, but coal, iron ore and grain are your friends![]()
Anyways, I disabled the stupid AI for me, because the map would look too crowded after a few years
My experience is that the AI tends to go after one area of the map heavily and leaves other areas fairly clear. Also, the towns tend not to grow too huge, at least in the first twenty years.
To keep the lands of middle earth green and plesant you employ tree beards. These Ents inhabit a tree tool which allow planting of instant trees. Used througout the land they will store up good will with the peoples councils. This rises to such an extent that the wrath of 'Bull the dozer' can be unleashed repeatedly on the constructs of the Wizard Sawyers invisible orc builders.

Regards
Tree Beard is a character and last time I read The Lord of the Rings he didnt have a split personality either...Severous wrote:To keep the lands of middle earth green and plesant you employ tree beards. If an Ent moot decide to raise good will, who am I to object?Kruz wrote:Tree Beard is a character and last time I read The Lord of the Rings he didnt have a split personality either...Severous wrote:To keep the lands of middle earth green and plesant you employ tree beards.
