[Developing] Finnish Metro
Anyways, since after many unsuccesful attempts of mine to even do the metro, i decided to give up on it, and ask someone else to do the model(preferrably someone who already knows how to get stuff into Locomotion and has the capabilaty to even do the model so it looks up to standards of Locomotion).Though there are 3 models that came earlier, i picked this one cause i travelled with Series 200(also travelled with series 100..). I also picked it cause of its late intorduction date, so you don't necessarily have to rush to make a Underground network so you can preserve the train. [EDIT]Paasky is making this currently..Stand by.

I would rather do M100 series if HKL hadn't such a paranoia and could give me the drawings. London Underground beats HKL 100-0 in this matter as they have all drawings in one pdf obtainable from their website.
PS. I'd love to hear that Thyristor noice from accelerating M100 in Loco:)

Doesn't almost every Metro sound like that?I seen both types, and honestly theres not much diffrence. Oh and Why would you want the blueprints for M100, you could just base it off the pictures(there are many avaible, even statistics). Recording the Thyristor noice would be hard as the metro station always has someone talking and i don't have a good recorder device avaible :/.Sellu wrote:I would rather do M100 series if HKL hadn't such a paranoia and could give me the drawings. Okay, here's what I've done. No textures, only planes with different colours:
The windshield is should be larger & the door-drops smaller... There are other small bugs in the model, but I'll try and make them work.
Also, how are Bo´Bo´+Bo´Bo´ wheels like? A simple paint drawing of those please...

So, are the wheels arranged like this:
ps. this is my first time of doing a vehicle into loco, so I don't know how you'd use the existing wheels...
Making simple boxes & cylinders for wheels is not very hard or time consuming, so I think it's wiser to put the wheels in the model...

How hard is it to make the sprites? Like making the company colours, having the background in correct colour, and getting the size & position right?
If the wheels are correct, I'll add them and put it in 3dsmax. Then some sort of textures, rendering & propably something that won't work
I've never done anything like this with 3dsmax so I'd like help on the paletes & stuff.
