After a lot of scouring the Internet and a lot of image editing, I managed to get an image I could use for a map of New Zealand. I also edited it in the game to try and place some real NZ harbours/lakes/mountains/towns.
I've created a scenario using the landscape, with some industries realistically placed, and others not so realistically placed. I won't post that until I've tested it though.
PS. thanks Mapgen!

Here's a scenario I've made using the NZ landscape. I've made it British climate because that gives a decent amount of snow, even if it in in the wrong season for the southern hemisphere. Also the only trains I've put in are narrow-gauge, since that's what we have here, and I thought it might be interesting. Some of the industries I've placed realistically and a few have names. I set the year to 1925 but if you don't like that you could always use the scenario editor to change it.
