He's mostly working with LoMo currently, but I know he's active in the forums, I had a conversation with him yesterday in the alpha thread. If he doesn't answer here in a day or so, we can message him.
Would you like to be even more helpful, and try to learn how to code the planes, particularly the advanced helicopters? That's where we're stuck at the moment.
errm. ok... but i have no idea where to start!

[EDIT] I posted these a while back, but no-one commented, are they worth drawing the other views?

They're a good start, but the edges are a little rough, and I think the windows could use some more detail. They're worth pursuing though.

As far as coding, 459, can you point him to the relevant Wiki pages?

Or, you could draw proper counter-rotating three-bladed rotor sets for the Chinook.

http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... oundations is a place to start... the Wiki seemed very slow for me when I tried it now.

SuperTycoon, your 777 BA livery itself seems good but make sure you submit the final work in exactly right color format (which it isn't right now, you have 24bpp PNG, should be 8bpp PCX or PNG) 'cos I'm unskilled to do palette conversions and nobody seems to be interested to do the conversions either.

Seriously, i thought there was an automatic tool to do that. Can't you ask Oracle about it? Or maybe Dinges?

Sorry, but I lost all my work on liveries after the power went out for no apparent reason. It didn't even go back on for 15 minutes!

I think there is a problem with the local power network, so it might happen again at any time

In Neopaint and Photoshop there's a tool to load a pallete, and convert the nearest colors isn't there?

Cause I know it's in Neopaint, but i'm too lazy to go downstairs and start my old computer.

I do, but when the power goes out, and I'm editing a PNG file, it deletes the file for some reason.

Anyways, I'll have to stop the liveries because my memory is really low, and I have to do schoolwork on here everyday.

Unfortunately, this means deleting files that I don't really need,
and since I DO need (or want) everything,
then I delete the files that I need the least,
which includes my extra TTD files (custom vehicles, unused graphics files, etc.).

So now, untill I get a new computer (Laptop has no memory card slots) , I can't fairly well do any work on TTD.

So, I'm sorry, but I just don't have the recources that I used to and need to do this...

Now, hang on a moment. There are several things you can do to make more hard drive space.

1. Empty your Recycle Bin.
2. Delete your Temporary Internet Files.
3. Get rid of anything on your hard drive that ends in .tmp.
4. Get rid of extra pieces of Windows that you don't need, e.g. the Online Services.
5. Most likely there are some old program on there that you don't need or want, which you can dump.
6. If you really get stuck, all the recent versions of Windows have a drive-compression utility that doubles the size of your hard drive.

How big is your hard drive, and what OS are you using?

Windows 98 SE, 10 GB hard drive. Disk Compression is not installed.

I've done almost all of your suggestions already, since I know how to do most of them.
I've deleted all my old applications, and even a few games I play often, but that only cleared a Gigabyte, which I need entirely to install a program I need to do homework. The last few megabytes of things I threw out to install the program were the TTD stuff, so I did have to get rid of it.

As for extra bits of windows, I never delete them, as you never know when you might need them, and I don't have the installation disk.

Good grief, you have 10GB and that's not enough?!?! I've never filled more than 3GB. There's got to be piles of stuff you can get rid of, or back up offline somewhere.

Or, you can compress the disk, that'll get you another 8GB or so I figure.

Or, you could buy another hard drive and set it up as a D.

Or, you could buy another, mnuch bigger hard drive, temporarily set it up as D, copy everything over with a special xcopy32 command, remove the original one, and you'd have everything on the new big hard drive with plenty of room without reinstalling.

Oops, that was the wrong spec, I have 128 MB, Sorry.

Also, I have no money to buy any hard drive, nor do I have a place to backup the drive.

Edit: Good grief for sure! I remember which compression utility you mean (DiskSpace) but it isn't on my system!

a full UT 2004 install takes 4 GB 8)
10 GB is nothing nowadays... But then in such an old computer, upgrading to a different size might not be worth it. odds are, the system won't even be able to use it.

Well, I don't play graphics-intensive action games, because I'm rotten at them. Sims, like TTD and SimCity, are much more my style, and they don't take anything like that much HDD space.

Well, I figured out what all these stats mean. I have 128 MB of MEMORY, 10 GB of HD space, and 1 MB of virtual memory. So I had more space that I thought.

As for the liveries, things have come up, and it may be a while before I can do them :(

I have noticed that someone has tested the Chinnok. Is the palette problem solved that I can go on with the Chinook Rotors or has someone else went on the chinook? Sorry that I was so silent the last weeks but I had other Things to do and I was a little bit worried that the palette wasn't right.

I did the Rotors now. I hope they are right and useable. I don't think that I have to wait very much until someone tells me if the Palette works now or not.

The palette is working all right, and even if it didn't you don't have to worry about it, 'cause I can easily convert it.
The rotors, thogh, spin in the same direction.
This is bad, because then the body of the helicopter would start spinning, in real.
Please redraw them.
