Locotool questiona
Let me say at first how usefull is this tool and my real thanks to the author.
I have only two question about it:
1. Is it correct that trying to load some files (i.e CHEMICAL.DAT, BRDGSTAR.DAT, BLDCTY8.DAT) i get the message that these files are not DAT files?
2. Why trying to modify some files like IRONORE.DAT i dont get the real image file of the object?

Some *.dat files simply are no decompileable objects for the game, they have a different file structure and are no real dat files.
the object dat file names are intuitive. ill do a list below this line:

The /Data folder :
No .dat file on this folder is decompileable with locotool V0.4
The /ObjData Folder:
