Hello good folks,
I've played Transport Tycoon 6 or 5 years ago. I played it a lot and definitely enjoyed a lot as well.
I just downloaded the game from your post up here with "all downloads" or something of that sort. Everything works great, I did the patchy button with was in some language of slavic origin, but I guessed where to press and was correct.
BUT - I just noticed that my trains are breaking down more than I remember they had to, I just my service interval and bam.. it's 16,000 DAYS! and when I try to change it either way, it doesn't work. Is this a known bug and what do I do to fix it?
Thanks a lot, greatly appreciate any advices. Love the game,
Mesofius the Transport Tycooneer
My service interval is 16000, how to change it ?

Wrong section of the forum but nevermind, I'm sure it will be redirected. Open the directory where you have TTD installed and look for a file called ttdpatch.cfg or tddpatchw.cfg (if you have the Fish UK windows port). Open that cfg file, look for serviceinterval and change tha value behind it. Save the cfg file and run TTD. Might be it only works in new games...
Sorry about the wrong section, didn't have time to properly observe your great forum folks.
Thanks a lot mate, you helped a great deal!
I kind of did what you said and it kinda worked in a weird way (my old trains and buses still have 16,000 days service-interval but my new ones are alright!) well, as they say SE LA VI (How no Idea how they spell it) and ya I got a british version.
I see it's not entirely the same game as I played before, for example I don't remember vehicles showing their current speed. Although maybe I just got older and experienced amnesia in 6 years ...
Nice to know that folks still play this good ol' game
cheers mate and thanks again!
