Airport bug, planes get stuck due to helicopter

somehow 4 planes got jammed in an airport (see screenshot) and now they seem to be permanently stuck this way

Hey K, the same thing happened to me.

It happens with the Helicopters, they jam up the plans when they land from the side.

As far as i know, there's no way to unjam them
1. u can't delete a plane until it's stopped
2. u can't delete the airport because there's planes on it

so unfortunately i think it's stuck forever :(
just don't use helicopters at airports

HAhahahaha :lol: :lol:

I think somebody wrote their Finite State Machine for the airports in a big hurry :D . I had exactly the same problems when I was making extra and larger airports for OpenTTD.

Hahaha :D. I was kinda surprised that I saw "solved" in the topic title. There I was thinking there was some clever timeout-code implemented that if planes were waiting too much, they would ignore the restrictions ingame. And I come here to find that the solution is to....leave the whole thing alone :))

Hmm, but the timeout idea is not so bad... ;)
