UNDO button
How about an Undo button for the last action (building stuff especially could be undone for a limited time only - 2 - 10 OTTD days maybe?). It came across my mind every time I wanted to build one 7 tiles long platform and I've built 7 one-tile platforms because I forgot to change railroad station orientation
. But I guess one can use it in other ways too.

Re: UNDO button
Like in Zeus: Master of olympus. It's a very useful feature. Maybe it should be patchwindow-configurable, or just disabled in the high difficulty level.Magic_Pixel wrote:How about an Undo button for the last action (building stuff especially could be undone for a limited time only - 2 - 10 OTTD days maybe?).
Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

The computer doesn't do this kind of mistakes (like being in a rush and forgetting to set the orientation of the station or a hand-slip when placing railroad! PC-s don't have slippery hands, they actually have no hands at all..)
As I said, it would/should be an immediate undo action, not something that you can undo after a year or so when you realize your route doesn't work... It would be a cheat then, but an immediat correction would be far from one.
EDIT: Remember also that you can't really 'misplace' a railroad station in real life, too. So you can demolish it and build it normally afterwards!
EDIT 2: It could come with a cost though, but smaller than demolishing and rebuilding. Let's call it 'wrong planning cost'
