Also any chance of you drawing a modern depot?
Me? HA! This is the first thing I've ever made for TTD, but I'll give it a go once I've finished this one... don't expect much though.

Good work, snorbuckle. Maybe I find some minutes to draw an modern DB-style depot like this:

Hey got a newbie question about modern/classic stations while your on the toppic. is there any way to make the depos on a sellectable menu like the RR stations are? or is that a whole new patch?

Or is there a way to make them change over time? like if you build one in 1920 you get classic style and if you build one in 2000 you get somehting diffrent? or have the old classic ones change over time? or is that also a patch yet to be made?

Right now, I'd be happy if you got a different depot graphic depending on the track type it was (of the 3 possibilities) that you could change with a GRF...

It's not as easy as it should have been, I'm afraid. Still it's on the top of the to-do list.

Of course we can draw the graphics, that's the easy part. The problem is getting them to work in the game, which is what Patchman is working on.

How do you get the cool roundhouse depot in SimCity4

P.S. I have the delux edition

On a completely different note... would it be possible to change the depo cursor and button for monorail and maglev? Having the old depo cursor always annoyed me.

(I've got the graphics done myself, I'm just wondering if it's possible for the coding to be done, too :D)

I expect so, but I'm not 100% sure. I figure it would have to be done with an EXE file at the moment because the GRF doesn't have a parameter for that, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know?

Whatever you can do with an EXE, you can do with a GRF. I think you can do what you want, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean so it might not be possible.

There are two issues here:

1. Replace the "building depot" cursors for the monorail and maglev with more appropriate ones. I'm not sure if this is possible, whether normally they use the same cursors or no.

2. Making electrified depots, to use the monorail depot building, which could then be replaced with a different graphic, the result being that electrified depots looked different from non-electrified ones. I don't think that can be done at all presently.
