Big Boy......Oh boy!

Post by Flavius »

Hi

Simply love the USSet but cannot get the Big Boy to behave. When i puchase the locomotive its ok, but when i add the tender it splits the loco in two locos. Same when i add my carraiges.
Also i cannot move the vehicles around in the depot so as to get them into the right places. :(

what version of the patch are you using?

If its 30+ it will most likely be caused by the articulated train switch. Also, I don't think you need to buy the tender when using most/ all of the USSet trains, mine (at least appeared) to automatically add it in when I bought the train.

post your patch config and I'm sure someone can give you more insight :)

Update your patch.
Get alpha 30 or 31.
There where some bugfixes in these versions.

Aren't you supposed to have Multihead on in your config to get articulated engines to work ?

Hi Rob

Gracious thank you's, i have it working at last. Multihead=on is required in alpha 31.
Incidently i needed to add the tender manually.
