@Lakie: yes, first the year, and then a random thingy. Examples: In the early nineties you will be able to build the white-orange livery, but it may (with many luck (I hope I can manage it)) happen, that you build one with the Munich airport livery. In the early seventies it's completely random if you get a white-blue or white-red ET-420 (I think that's correct).

Cool.

Likes the sound of coding that...

Interesting to see how it turns out.

There were also (lots of) white-orange 420 in the 70ies: Munich originally had the white-blue trains whereas Stuttgart (and later "Rhein-Ruhr") got white-orange. Frankfurt was originally intended to have white-red 420, but there actually was only one white-red 420. All further 420 for the Frankfurt-S-Bahn were white-orange.

Thank you for drawing, Singaporekid! :D The engine looks good. May I also use (maybe modify) the large tank engine from your sig?

@Georg: Thanks, you are our official Livery Comissioner now *g* How do you suggest to distribute the liveries over time/randomness to match the original livery distribution best?

I really searched for posts where you say something about your sig
Of course your name will appear in the list of developers and in the GRF! :)

I need the tank as BR 86:

I think this project could be merged with European Cargo Set (and make it Cargo and Passenger set)
what are you looking at? it's a signature!

Hmm, a Suggestion:

1972 - 1974: Blue/White (Munich S-Bahn started in 1972)
1975 - 1977: Red/White (Frankfurt got it's first 420 in 1975, although officially the "S-Bahn" started in 1978)
1978 - 1991: Orange/White (Stuttgart S-Bahn started in 1978 and Orange/White-Trains were by then also common in Munich)
1992: Munich Airport Line-livery (Munich-Airport-Line opened in 1992)
1993 - 1996: Orange/White again
1997ff: Traffic Red

"Special" livery, e.g. trains with full advertising, could appear on random - though they should not appear too often.

The coding? me. The graphics? you! or I just take your tank and make it a BR 86

@Georg: your scheme looks good, it will be used!

@Shadow: The cool thing is, that the player can choose which sets he will "merge" in his game. Cargo set and passenger set will be additional to a DB base set (and other countrie's base sets). Look here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=8004

There's a Problem with that. We already have the K.Bay.St.B. S 3/6, which will become DB BR 18.4 later. I can't make a DR 18.2 (East-Germany) from a DB 18.4 (West-Germany), because they have different technical data :?

That could be done, but the 18.2 was a East-German only engine :? And I didn't want to mix up DB and DR (the East-German railway company), because I would need to add the double amount of engines. What about the BR 10 "black swan" instead?

If this set it to work properly, you should really get one thing done at a time, and finish it completely, rather than having a bunch of half-finished graphics... Organisation people!
