Trains down under!?

Post by AP »

Hi! Can Anyone help me? What has happened to my train-list? :? I am just using The DB-Set (0.71) no temperate set, no us set activated, nothing more... I woul be grateful for any help. Thanks,

AP

Hi tried a lot today. Coul it be a problem of the limited amount of sprites and too many grf's activated? FRIENDLY hints ( I only say First of all...)... desired ; )

Hi! Already hoped to have solved this bug it appeared again today. Has anyone faced the same experience? What could be the reason? Number of sprites? Too many grf's activated? DBset and dbset xl, each one alone, don't cause the bug, as far as my try outs have shown. Any ideas???

Have you tried the usuals? Killing ttdload(w).ovl, removing ttdpttxt.dat, etc.?

On a side note, is the Euro sign placed after the number by default? I thought it was supposed to go before ...

Hi! Thanks fot the first answers to help me. :D

Well of course I have a gui status, but I never use db set (0.71) and temperate together. Therest lokks similar. And by killing the ttdoverload...-don't I lose any content or game's informtation that could be quiete important? (f.e. do I have to re-install all the grf's in the newgraphics.cfg?) ? :?:

Thanks for your ansers,

Hi! Just killed ttdoverload and ttdpxt.dat. Changed nothing at all. Bug remains. Could it have something to do with a file called fr.grf? It is not activated but in my list. Which grf's should I / shouldn't I try togehter maybe?

Thanks,

first of all learn to use EDIT button instead of multiposting

secondly, try using only DBSet .... if that will fix it do some experiments to see what is causing the error
what are you looking at? it's a signature!

It is probably a .grf file misbehaving, probably not the dbset itself. Try deactivating grf files one by one (click on the green flags and then apply) to find which one is causing trouble.

The USset and DBXL set are known to not play well together sometimes, for reasons unknown. Dunno if this applies to you.
