I have built four oil refineries on the out skirts of the map and they just dont want to produce creates - the station accepts the oil and gets heaps of it but doesnt produce crates and then the make matters worse it shuts down from lack of supply even though it gets like 3 oil trains a minute at least.
i can also remember this happening for a sawmill at the start of the map even though it was getting wood, hwoever once it shutdown i built a new one and there wasnt a problem
**might have something to do with station spread**
and dont worry same problem occurs with opentdd
industries / crate output problem

Can you post a screenshot ?
It probably is like you said yourself, stationspread to big.
To be precise the namesign of the station is to far away from the refinery.

Also, remember to be sending trains to load the goods - it won't produce anything unless there is a train loading there.

Not entirely true, Raichase.
The refinnery does produce the goods anyhow, they just won't show up in the station.
