Request Denied Monophonic. You can't see the diffrence between SM1 and SM2 ingame, the SM1 will be Yellow-Red, SM2 White-Red. You can ofcourse, make your own modifications after the set has been released(well if you do get permission from Lakie + Purno). If they would be both same livery from start they would be unrecognizable.

As regards liveries, the BR set is likely to have lots of similar-looking units, however, we have lots of different operating companies, instead of a single, state railway. Not only that, but you have to account for the player colour - can you really generate two shades of blue different enough to distinguish between them? I wouldn't say it was of vital importance that you can tell the difference between two similar units - only that not everything looks exactly the same.
The Sm1 and Sm2 are almost identical.
Apart from different Lievies and Power and amount of Passengers they can hold.

Since so many colour (palette) errors have been made.
I made a palette template for everyone working on this train set.
Made from this resource by Broodje
If you use paint, edit the image (resize) then add your sprites then save.
It should keep the paletter coded into it.

And the coachs are being coded.
From Akalamanaia I have been told Hyronymus has said he will not code the steam Trains because of time restraints, so I will code them when I get a chance.
Since so many colour (palette) errors have been made.

colour What does it do?
0 see trough also known as magic blue
1-9 not used shows black ingame
10-51 normal colours don't do anything
52 Is see trough yelow, but curently only in station roof sprites, could change with new patchversions
53-197 normal colours don't do anything
198-205 are all company colours. These colours are converted to the the shades from your company colour
206-216 normal colours don't do anything
216-226 are slowely almost random flashing are all used in the water sprites, 222, 223 and 224 flash to almost white others are darker
227-231 flashing after eachother from 227 to 231 all flash to one teint lighter
232-238 flashing after eachother from 232 to 238 all flash to one teint lighter
239-240 are flashing from black to red and red to black
241-244 are black ingame and flash to yelow from 244 to 241
245 normal colour? doesnt do anything
246-254 are not used shows white ingame
255 white
It should keep the paletter coded into it.

Sm1 coupled wth a Sm2 - two trains coupled together.
Sm2 - Grey and red train in the bottom-left corner.
Sr2 and Sr1 goods trains - middle.
Dm10 - in the station, behind the buildings.
Sm4 - in the station next to the road.
Sr1 with vr coaches (Express) - just about to enter the station junction.
Sr2 with Inter City coaches - just leaving the station junction.

Hmmm Lakie...you noticed the SM1 & SM2 units coupled together, the Sm1 units are facing both wrong way
and the SR1 & 2 are bit off compared to the intercitys and VR coaches. Cause cargo wagons are optional(they come later on as optional add-on), i think the Vr coach and intercity's alignment should be fixed to match with SR1 & SR2.
