If the propeller looks matter, then post another Connie with the "Saab 2000" style props or something else you could invent so we can see which way it looks best. In my opinion that plane looks just fine now :). Making planes (and in this case using the propellers) out of original TTD planes IMO helps keeping uniformity with TTD graphical style which I personally see as a good thing. However, it's matter of taste.

krtaylor, you've put the wrong sprite for A300 in progress page. It should be the upper one.

I changed the Embraer 190 winglets into company color. IMO they look better now.

Some extra graphics for evaluation:

#1: I made a fix for B707, I detected an error in it during the A320&A321 editing.
#2: A321

Let's have a look to B727 again, I've now given slight revising for rear wings. The only tweaks RPharazon did to the original B727 was the removal of rear wing in other diagonal view. For my eyes it doesn't look very good if you remove complete wings, even if krtaylor liked it :)

Please comment now whether this tweak addresses the initial problem of overly massive rear wings - I gave some extra pixels for the blue centerline so the wings look a bit smaller. And if any other subjects of further editing arise, just comment here so I can do them.

I just thought about something. The sonic cruiser isn't going to be called that when it is released, but we don't know what it may be called, so I propose that we number it the 7A7, not 797 or 787. The A representing it's bullet-like speed, similar that the 8 in Airbus A380 represents the double decks, but would've been named the A350 normally.

Looking at the Sonic Cruiser again, I think its wings need to be thinner and pointier at their ends. I have no problem with giving it a different name, we could call it the Boeing 7A7 "Sonic Cruiser" and it would meet both needs.

He gave up a few pages back. Unless someone knows something else, I don't see any reason for you not to take it over.

At least 5 people have started to do a zeppelin, with high hopes and raspberries for those that previously failed, and not gotten much further. They must be very difficult to do.

The shading on the tip of the wings looks a little odd. Otherwise, I like the shape much better. I still think the ends of the wings could be a little thinner.

What you mean about the CDR?

I mean a CD-ReWritable. It was too big to fit in a floppy, and I don't have internet, so I had to bring it to the library. Man, I am SO grateful for library computers.

Also, I didn't get the chance to read that post up there, I just decided to see how you liked the changes I made while I was gone (or sorta, I've kept up-to date through the library and my neighbours computer, who they let me use while they're at home).

Something's wrong with that. On my computer, the sonic-cruiser GIF file you posted is only 8k. You could fit 150 of them on one floppy.

Oh, wait, found the problem. Weeks ago I tried to load a SINGLE file to the disk, but it was too large for it, so it caused a wierd bug: The disk is filled with data, but there is no file or anything you can click on to erase from the disk. So it looked like nothing is in there, but it's actually stuffed to the brim! So when it kept coming up with the "there is no space left on disk error", and because I had no other floppies to test it, I went and bought a CD to put it on. I can't believe I wasted all that money!

Edit: Updated Sonic Cruiser

OT: just reformat the disk (right click on the drive, select format), make sure it not your hardrive, lol.

You're definitely getting there. Notice that I do accept each of your newer versions, even if there are still adjustments that would be nice.

There is one thing I'm still not quite happy with, that I've been trying to talk about, but maybe I'm not quite expressing myself right.

In your sprites, the leading edge of the wing is a straight line at a diagonal to the fuselage, like the wings of most airplanes.

According to the diagram of the Sonic Cruiser on the tracking table, that's not quite right. The forward part of the wing is at a sharper angle, kind of like the Concorde's wing; then halfway back, it angles outward, more like a conventional plane's wing, to provide the long thin section at the end of the wing. So the leading edge of the wing has an angle in the middle of it, it isn't straight.

Am I being clear?

As far as the CDRW, well, it will stand you in good stead to have one. I don't use mine very often, but it's useful every now and then.

It's still not quite right, but I think it is as probably as close as we'll get, unless someone else wants to tweak it a bit. It's certainly good enough.
