So my parents are pretty old for being parents of a 14 year old hahaha

as long as they won't die for another, well... thousand years, I don't mind though... there are some people that really look at me like the :? and  smilies when I tell them about my parent's.... That kinda makes me :evil:M:evil:A:evil:D:evil:
my father is 55 and my mother is 54 (and i'm 16), so my parents are a bit older (and a bigger age-gap)

Hmm, for you learning C++ is a just everyday activity. For me is a damm hard work. But, I did some Cobol in my college years and a lot of Basic in my Atari years, so, this is good, to keep my gray cells in shape.

Hehehe.. we'll I can tell its not that easy... I have used basic for over 8 years... and now Im going to try C
(It looks a bit like Java which I had in school, but a lot of the known functions are so different..)
But indeed I guess its even harder for you. Still great there are even older people stil interested in the computer.. and more important in TTD !!!
:P

Novell? WTF are you learning novell? :D

C++ and Java are good to learn for sure, go for a bit of assembly too if you can. Get a book on computer architecture. Learn binary. Asm will help you with C as well (help you better understand how it works). Learn data structures too, like b-trees and stuff.

Go learn some tcp/ip fundamentals and some SQL as well.. god NOVELL, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?
