Hiya!

I have been trying to run TT (at much prodding to test out some new graphics packs), having not played since the new stations first came out... However, whenever I open TTPatch, it opens normally and starts TT, but before the menu can pop up, it crashes back to the desktop and gives me some rubbish about telling Microsoft about this problem. I don't think Microsoft will care.

At the bottom of the crashlog, (I was trying to fix it myself...), I noticed this line:

While processing GRF file: newgrf/newstatsw.grf; Sprite number: 0007 (hex)

So I disabled the Newstatsw.grf file, and TT opened as normal. I have just updated to the 28.5 Alpha version, for Windows, and the newest of new DBSetXL (the bugfix version).

Not an urgent problem, as I *can* live without my little signalboxes, but it's a problem none the less. Attached is all the paraphanalia you have come to expect. I think.

according to MB mailling post you should try downloading new stations again

Yeah, I saw that, thanks Shadow. I now have a different problem, but thats being sorted on the mailing list . Disregard this topic folks.
