Game doesn't recognize my cd

Hi folks

old fan of ttdlx returning to the fold to hit disaster! my old copy wont work with xp! having downloaded the new patches and tried, it wont recognise my cd! aargh! any help for a pc non-genius gratefully appreciated. being a member of other forums, i realise its irritating when a newbie appears and asks stupid obvious questions but please help if you can

You probably have the DOS version, which won't work under XP regardless. You need the Windows version. In the Downloads area of this forum, you will find a link to, actually, a complete package with everything you need.

If it doesn't find the CD, it is the Windows version already. So he just needs the patch...
