Translating in 0.3.2.1

Post by sirs »

Hi...

I'm attempting to translate to catalan (a language from northwestern Spain, spoken by roughly 6 million people), but I can't get strgen to work.

Even when trying to generate the default language (english), I get the following errors:

2307: ERROR: Undefined command 'REV' in 'lang/english.lng'
2307: ERROR: Undefined command 'REV' in 'lang/english.lng'
2307: ERROR: Undefined command 'INT32' in 'lang/english.lng'
2307: ERROR: Undefined command 'CURRCOMPACT' in 'lang/english.lng'

I've searched the text for these tokens and they are there, but not in that line. I've tried removing them, but even then the .lng file generated does not appear in the selection list from the game.

I'm using Windows XP.

Help, please!

You're using incompatible strgen and language files.
You must use matching strgen binary and language files from the same release. For example, newer english.txt will most likely not compile with an older strgen binary, and would generate errors such as the ones you got.

That's weird, because I've been only using files supplied in 0.3.2.1 for windows...
