In TTD (Patch?) there is a feature to manage a company when you own that company for 75%. I think that is vary usefull, is it possible to implement such a function here to?

It's a patch, and OTTD has said they should have all the TTD patches by short time, so...

I don't like it, though. I consider it slightly cheating (You can buy a company, blow up all their tracks and sell it)
Alcohol is not the answer, it just makes you forget the question.

It's completely realistic though (see what happened to the interurbans, and some of the parallel short lines, in the US)

Usually i do the opposite, buy the company, optimice the computer 'mad ai' tracks and then sell it.

If you only get rid of these stupid random curves in tracks, remove uphill/downhill/uphill sections and little more, AI won't protest, if you try to join various routes in one network, then yes, AI'll remove the tracks and trains.

I used to optimise the tracks and pay off the debts, and then I buy the whole company. When I want to get the AI is going away, I block the trains...
