Options not loading

Hi all.

I have a problem with new options not loading in.
Im using XP, TTDX Config 1.95, TTDPatch 2.0 rev 1; 2.0.1 alpha 25

I have two config files, ttdpatch.cfg & ttdpatchw.cfg
I was using ttdpatchw.cfg but have found out i need to be using ttdpatch.cfg. Is this correct?
Cos when i use ttdpatchw.cfg all the options load in properly, but when i use ttdpatch.cfg, the alpha/beta switches dont load. I.e. it comes up with errors when i try and run TTD.

I had to completely re-install TTD, patch and TTDX.
After this, the coloured profits on vehicles doesn't work, as well as the rating thing that appeared next to each vehicle. I'm sure i have those options turned on.
Can anyone help me with that one too?

If you are using the windows version of ttd and the patch (ttdpatchw.exe) you need ttdpatchw.cfg, if you're using the dos version you need ttdpatch.cfg....

I knew it had to be something simple, but i got confused with people talking about the two different files.

Just have to work out this colour profit problem now.

TTDPatch Windows works with ttdpatch.cfg as the DOS Version...

that depends on what version you are using ... in TTDPatch 2.0 it is in experimentalfeatures while in TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 25 it is new switch

I suggest you to try use default cfg and edit it later manually

If you use alpha, or if you use the retail version of TTDPatch.
